I finaly managed to get a proper color correction pipeline for the desert scenes. The effect is to give more contrast to the complementary colors to spice the image and composition.

PLEASE don't do the "teal - orange" crap. That to me is anti-art... it is the absolute lowest common denominator garbage studios tell directors/cinematographers to do because it is the most palatable visual for the masses. It seems to be daring anymore to just use natural colors and lighting. Hell, have you seen that new trailer for INTERSTELLAR? Every single scene is a garish orange and teal... no natural colors whatsoever.
